Meet the Coaches

With over 10 years of coaching experience and a background as a former collegiate Division I athlete, Coach Janelle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the clinic.  Her approach emphasizes developing fundamentals first, having a strong work ethic, and playing with a positive attitude to be successful.  Coach Janelle is committed to helping every player achieve their best performance on the court, while also learning life skills to achieve the best version of themselves off the court.  While playing at Punahou School, CSUN, and UH Manoa, Coach Janelle understands the importance of hard work and perseverance to compete at the next level. 

Coach Juju is an energetic and spirited coach with a passion for teaching both individual skills and team concepts.  Having played at Punahou School and Chaminade University, Coach Juju learned the significance of work ethic and industriousness.  Coach Juju has over 10 years of coaching experience as well, and as the Girls Basketball Varsity Head Coach at Mid-Pacific Institute, she is committed to helping her student-athletes achieve their personal best on and off the court.  Her passion to develop the true potential of her players will certainly extend to Nomura Basketball Academy!
